 "Międzynarodowy konkurs Elevate – Bringing urban spaces to life")
Tematem przewodnim konkursu Elevate jest hasło "tchnij życie w miejską przestrzeń". Głównym zadaniem jest stworzenie projektu instalacji, która wprowadzi element zabawy w przestrzeni miasta, przerwie rutynę przyciągając uwagę zabieganych przechodniów i zachęci ich do aktywności. Wysokość nagród uzależniona jest od finalnej liczby uczestników - maksymalnie łączna pula może wynieść 15 000 dolarów.
W konkursie obowiązuje opłata rejestracyjna uzależniona od typu uczestnika (studenci/profesjonaliści/instytucje).
Konkurs prowadzony jest w języku angielskim.
Oryginalny opis konkursu:
Technology has miraculously enabled people to stay connected, informed, and entertained, from every street and corner. It is usual for someone to stare at their screens despite being surrounded by people in public spaces that are designed to offer respite from the constant hubbub of urban life and engage people in interactions. Social interaction is a way to communicate ideas, meet new people and share conversations in a social setting. However, this definition is changing with the introduction of new companions in the form of devices that accompany people. This raises the question of whether we have surrendered ourselves to devices that in turn isolate us from those around? Or conversely, is the real world not interesting enough?
Nagrody:
Wysokość nagród uzależniona jest od liczby uczestników. Maksymalna pula nagród to 15 000 $. Gwarantowane nagroda to 750 USD za I miejsce. Aktualne informacje o wysokości nagród dostępne są na stronie konkursu (link poniżej).
