Platforma YAC (Young Architects Competitions) ogłosiła konkurs na projekt domku na drzewie. Suma nagród to 15 000 euro. Przesłane prace zostaną poddane ocenie przez profesjonalne jury, w którym znajdą się m.in. znani architekci tacy jak Espen Surnevik, Matthew Johnson (DS+R), Giulio Rigoni (BIG), Tue Hesselberg Foged (Effekt Architects), Peter Pichler, Patrick Lüth (Snøhetta).
To idealna okazja, by zrealizować swoje marzenie z dzieciństwa - zaprojektować i stworzyć własny domek na drzewie. Organizatorem konkursu jest firma Dartagnans, której celem jest renowacja zabytkowych przestrzeni. Projekty zostaną zrealizowane na terenie średniowiecznego zamku Ebaupinay w regionie Deux-Sevres we Francji.
Konkurs prowadzony jest w języku angielskim.

We all dreamt about it, designed it and longed for it. The luckiest ones owned one. For sure, few people can say that the tree house was not one of their greatest childhood aspirations. In fact, the tree house is maybe one of the first and most shared archetypes of architecture. It is the shelter of childhood. It is the safe place. It is the stronghold where to feel independent and keep the adult world at a distance. It is an inaccessible place suspended between sky and trees. It is the scenery and projection of extremely exciting adventures. (...) This is the opportunity that Tree House Module offers to participants. This is the challenge that Dartagnans poses to architects. They will have to design and create their own concept of tree house.
Terminy: Standardowy termin rejestracji upływa 24 maja 2020 roku. Materiały można przesyłać do 24 czerwca. Ogłoszenie wyników nastąpi 3 sierpnia.
Nagrody:
- I miejsce - 8 000 euro
- II miejsce - 4 000 euro
- III miejsce - 2 000 euro
- 2 Złote wyróżnienia - 500 euro każde
- 10 honorowych wyróżnień
- 30 finalistów
