Zadanie polega na opracowaniu pomnika, który może pełnić również funkcję centrum uzdatniania wody i zbiornika retencyjnego. Pomnik poświęcony będzie klęsce suszy i jej katastrofalnym skutkom.
Konkurs ma charter koncepcyjny i nie jest realizacyjny. Jego ideą jest zebranie najciekawszych pomysłów na tego typu obiekty.
Konkurs prowadzony jest w języku angielskim. Można wziąć w nim udział indywidualnie lub zespołowo. Obowiązują opłaty rejestracyjne.
Opis oryginalny:
The design of the memorial must be inspired by water and its characteristics. The construction will make efficient use of the water resources available in the region. The aesthetics of the design is as important as its functional layout. The centre must not have a negative impact on the site environment on which it is built. The social, political or cultural impacts of this proposal must be documented. The aim of the design is to create a landmark that can become a reminder of the importance of water as a resource in the nation. The centre will be used to promote efficient use of water in a deprived area. The water treatment centre must be designed with transparency, so as to spread awareness of the process. The blending of the design of the memorial and treatment centre must be seamless and imaginative.

- Maksymalna pula nagród w konkursie wynosi 24.000 dolarów i uzależniona jest od liczby uczestników.
Terminy:
- Rejestracja - do 28 marca 2022 roku.
- Przesyłanie prac - do 29 marca 2022 roku.
